How you can still incorporate your family + friends into your elopement

Did you know that 91% of Millennials are considering eloping, and 3 out of 5 married couples say that if they were to do it again, they would have eloped instead?

I was quite shocked at that statistic.

Eloping is not running away,

nor is it dismissing your family. You could indeed have your closest loved ones in attendance at your elopement.

Throwing the COVID pandemic into the mix and with provincial restrictions what they are, it's almost impossible for extended family to travel in to witness your vows safely and legally.

With the powers of technology in 2021, you are able to organize a live stream of your ceremony if that's something important to you. You can also have your entire day filmed into a condensed highlight film, that you can send you those who couldn't be there, or opt for a full length film of the entire thing.

Here's an example of what you could achieve with an elopement which incorporates your loved ones near + far:

It is possible for your friends + family to not miss out. Plus there is nothing stopping you from having a big celebratory party in person when the pandemic is over. Just remember why you are committing yourselves to each other in the first place. It's all about you.
