You have your heart set on a beautifully intimate, small wedding but all you see on searches is big hotel chains offering their banquet halls. Too often the small and quirky venues get missed, so here I'm sharing my list of Red Deer wedding venues that I would love to see:
Sweet Haven Barn
Sweet Haven Barn is a unique farm venue surrounded by beautiful country landscape in the heart of Central Alberta. Their timeless barn is a place where you can escape the busy city and surround yourself with nature.
Spanning more than 6,400 square feet and featuring beautiful vaulted ceilings, a large relaxing bridal suite, spacious loft space, elegant chandeliers, and. a gorgeous brick fireplace, it's one not to miss.
Pine & Pond
As one of Alberta’s most sought-after wedding venues, you and your guests will have exclusive access to the entire multi-acre property. Several historic buildings and features throughout Pine and Pond provide endless inspiration for truly unique wedding photos, and the fire pit, tree-lined paths, and rolling manicured grass create the perfect relaxed setting for your guests to stroll, explore, socialize, and play yard games.
52 North Venue
52 North Venue is Central Alberta’s only Upscale Industrial venue. It is on 7 acres of natural scenery including a beautiful creek and towering spruce trees, located just minutes north of Sylvan Lake. The venue features a New York inspired brick wall, hand-crafted tables, a bar & lounge area all styled with an industrial vibe. It's AWESOME!
Hilltop Wedding Center
From the most spectacular views of Sylvan Lake to a private and exclusive golfing experience, Hilltop Wedding Center has everything to make your wedding the one to remember. What was formerly Top O' the Hill Golf Course for the past 37 years is now a meticulously maintained 20-acre property perfected with all the amenities of an outdoor tent wedding, while maintaining a 9 hole golf course for you and your guests to privately enjoy.
Heritage Ranch - Red Deer wedding venue
Boasting 217 acres of space conveniently located halfway between Calgary and Edmonton, the ranch is an ideal venue for your wedding. From beautiful natural backdrops and landscapes running along the scenic Red Deer River to mouthwatering chef-inspired menu; prepared from local, fresh and seasonal ingredients that you and your guest will savour.
Canyon Ski Resort
You don’t have to trek to the mountains to get a chalet wedding experience. You can enjoy the breathtaking river valley just minutes from Red Deer. Inside our rustic lodge are huge glass windows, stone wood-burning fireplaces, and outside, a wrap around deck with picturesque views in every direction. This is a real hidden gem of a wedding venue.
