Chelsie & Peter had such a fun and unique wedding at the Barr Estate Winery.
They started off at home each getting ready. Chelsie was having a great morning with her bridesmaids getting ready together. You could feel the excitement! All of the bridemaid dresses were hanging around the bride’s, and the bubbles were on ice. It was precious to watch Chelsie’s grandma help her to put on her earrings.
This hot August day was bright and relaxed when I arrived at the Barr Estate Winery, just outside of Edmonton. The DJ was just setting up and in the distance was the view of the wedding arch at the end of the aisle. They had personalized wedding vows that they had written themselves. This is where it really does make it special to have a wedding videographer capture the day because you will always remember what you said to each other.
Chelsie’s brother walked her down the aisle, and it was a close call as to whether Peter would cry. I think he was close!
After the ceremony we headed down to Downtown Edmonton where we took some wedding party footage by the Walterdale Bridge which made a great backdrop. The entire wedding party was up for having some fun which really make my job easier.
The reception was at Pioneers Cabin in Edmonton. It’s a lovely log cabin venue that first opened in 1959. with great views. There were plenty of laughs at the speeches, a wonderful meal, a lot of questions answered in the shoe game, followed by an excellent dance courtesy of Nyquest Entertainment.
From the couple:
SAM!!!! Omg we finally watched all of our videos last night and they are amazing. I cried and laughed and smiled. You captured our day, our love and all of the fun so perfectly! My mom LOVED the speeches video and I do too. It’s so amazing to have those extra memories. You are fabulous. Thank you!
Before I delivered their highlight film I made them a short wedding teaser- something I like to do just to keep you going until the full film arrives. This was their teaser:
