This Hope City Church Wedding in Edmonton was everything!
Veronica & Josh married at their own church, Hope City Church in downtown Edmonton. It was super special. They were surrounded by their family, as well as their friends from every aspect of their lives and God.
They decided to not do a first look, but instead do a first 'touch' and pray together. It was very emotional. You could tell how much they really wanted to see each other at that moment, but it made their prayer so much more powerful.
This is one of the things I love most about videography.
You have the audio that goes with the day. People argue that videography is a 'waste of money' - but really it is an investment into those memories. Sure your family members can hang the pictures on the wall, but wouldn't it be amazing to also have a video where you can actually hear what they said during that moment the photo was taken? Wouldn't it be great for your grandchildren to know what their great great great grandma's voice sounded like?
After the ceremony we went down to the Kinsmen Park which is a beautiful area along the River Valley. We had a lot of fun there with the wedding party! Veronica and Josh were so accomodating with our ideas for video shots to really get the most out of their video.
Their reception was at Ampersand 27 in Downtown Edmonton, the food was delicious and it was a nice intimate setting for the couple and their guests to unwind and really celebrate.
From the couple:
“HOLY SMOKES. JOSH AND I JUST WATCHED OUR WEDDING VIDEO TOGETHER AND WE ARE JUST LAYING HERE BAWLING!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CAPTURING EVERYTHING SO BEAUTIFULLY- WE ARE MORE THAN GRATEFUL YOU WERE THERE!!”
