Bracknell Wedding

I first met Mick & Lesley when I was the photographer at a Summer Ball at RAF Northolt. Since then I photographed them at more events and noticed that they were always one of the first ones to be shot, not to mention Mick was always the only guest wearing a kilt!

Fast forward 2 years and Mick approached me to be their wedding photographer. I was delighted as I knew that they would both be comfortable with me in front of the camera on the day. We had met at the venue, The Coppid Beech Hotel in Bracknell, back in February for a meet, to discuss what they were looking for in a photographer and also to take a look around the venue, which had blown me away!

Myself and Jo, my 2nd photographer, took the trip down to the venue. It was glorious weather (considering it had been raining most of the week) so we were super excited to get some photos outside of the hotel.

We arrived and straight away saw Mick in the lobby, who appeared nervously excited! He was sat writing the list of the group shots he wanted, talk about cutting it fine! I guess it could have been worse…..it could have been his speech!

Jo and I went our separate ways, she went to photograph Mick and his best man, and I went to find Lesley, who was having her hair done as I arrived.

I was stunned at the beauty of her dress, it was lacy, feminine and screamed class, with so much detail. The kind of dress I wish I had worn at my wedding!

The ceremony was intimate considering there were a lot of guests. The room was full of love and excitement. Mick’s face as Lesley was walking down he aisle said it all.

After the ceremony we whisked Mick & Lesley away to get some couple shots at their request. They make such a happy couple and it is evident in the images how much they love each other.

Then followed the reception. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of the Art Deco interior of the room. The speeches were extremely moving, from the Brother of the Bride, the Best Man and the Groom.

We then stole Mick & Lesley again as the sun was setting, and captured them both outside with the wonderful hazy golden glow.

Dusk turned into night as they took their first dance, which then led to a night of Karaoke and of course InflatObooth, which was a big hit!
