Top reasons to elope in 2022

Busting the myth of elopements being secretive and shameful is one of the biggest things the wedding industry has seen in decades.

You could say they are the most ‘on trend’ way of getting hitched in this new 20’s era.

Back in the day elopements were seen as rushed, irrational & unapproved. But if you really look into the meaning of an elopement, they are exactly the opposite of that.

Here’s my top reasons to elope in 2022:

The ability to cater every detail to you as a couple

Eloping gives you both time to really connect with each other, You can completely focus on yourselves and be in the moment. Spend the morning together over a nice breakfast, get ready together and help each other with your outfits, really enjoy the day however you want to spend it.

You get the day you want

You can plan as much or as little as you want for your elopement. None of the “I did it like this” comments. No outside influences that you may not have picked for yourselves for your own wedding day. If you want to invite guests, then you absolutely can. It’s your day completely!

Your vows to each other can be as intimate as you like

You don’t need to hold back on the emotion, if it’s just the two of you you can really connect with each other and be as open and honest as you like. Really focus on each other as you say those vows knowing that the moment is completely and utterly about you.

You don’t have to worry about pleasing guests with travel arrangements

No more added stress of knowing what entertainment to put on for your guests while they wait for your portraits to be done. Not having to worry about taxis at the end of the night. You could even pitch up a tent and camp yourselves and not worry about anything else!
