What do you edit?
What is the process?
Whatever you want to give me! I mainly edit weddings/elopements, newborn and family genres.
I send you a questionnaire and we get on a call to discuss your style, likes/dislikes and what your goals are. You send me the images to a secure shared folder, I'll edit and return them in the same folder for you to download. Easy!
What does the basic edit include?
The general things to align a set, such as exposure, white balance, temp/tint, contrast, highlights/shadows and cropping to straighten.
What editing software do you use?
Lightroom Classic for the bulk, Photoshop, Evoto or Topaz if needed for finer work. I can work with Lr CC but as this isn't professional software, I am unable to cull as effectively on there.
Does it matter what file type I use?
Ideally you should send me the RAW files, that gives us the most flexibility to work with. Any other type of file is fine, though you will be compromising on quality due to compression. I do also work with Lr Catalogs for a quicker turnaround if no Ps work is needed.
What is the turnaround time?
Typically it is a 7-10 day turnaround for a standard gallery. I work down a list based on when received much like a photo lab would,
If you're in a hurry I offer a 3 day turnaround, or if you need them even quicker, a 1 day turnaround.
Do you offer a free trial?
Absolutely! I know outsourcing is a big deal so you need to make sure that I can fully recreate your style. I can edit 3-5 images free of charge as a trial. Just let me know!
